Aiyo..luke is sick again =( wanted to hold on the record for months until he gets sick again....but mission failed ......besides fever, his asthma is triggered too...so all come together like a dunno wad combo for me...I hope there's nothing else more for me...altho compared when luke's a baby when he's sick this is no 'kick'...
Babies and toddlers get sick very xing ku...caretakers also...they'll constantly make lots of noise especially in da night....different babies chu different patterns..luke is the keep wanna bao bao kind..

i underestimated it....luke fever gone up to 39.7 on tuesday noon..im lost for a moment..colin was working still n only can leave until 6..it's about 4 pm then...I called up the specialist clinic..that girl advised to bring luke to da children A&E immediately as Luke took panadol already but din bring the fever down still...
Like crazy woman lor..he crying away..but no choice put him down..faster pack his stuffs..took a cab n off to NUH....dread that place alot..going there means nothing good..
Reached there wait n wait...was directed to the fever tent for a brief checkup cos he was running a temp u see n they are very particular with patients who has it. . I dunno probably it's becos of past SARS and bird flu...anyway i guess it's good to be cautious then sorry later on...
So after that brief checkup, they concluded he can go back to the normal A&E children area to wait for his turn to be fully examine by the doc..his crankyness continued...keep telling me he wanna go home! Argh and bao bao bao bao....later on hanxun came over awhile from sch (nearby ma..hor hanxun? *winks*)..he pei me until colin came n everything's done.
Doc's conclusion...Luke's caught a viral infection..suspected from colin..n these kind of viral fever takes about 3-5 days to recover n the temp ranges from 38.3 - 40 degrees. Paracetamol can only bring down the fever when taken..but will not take away the fever..only until his own body meet on terms with it...
Well, today's da 3rd day...glad that his fever is gone from late morning until now...Luke requested bowling early in da morning..as granted lor...cant tahan his nagging..brought him out awhile to great world treat it as take a walk ba..else at home very sick sick like this..to our surprise, da fever went down down down n didnt come back...
I think this logic is quite interesting..it happened to me before, i guess partly it's due to one's mentality ba. Dun really koe how to explain..but it seems like when u're doing something u like or enjoy or looking forward to something, u'll feel less pain...in luke's case fever gone down..
just like who koes it might have made him even more tired going out...but of course i'll observe lar..he shows wadever reaction, it'll be put into immeadiate consideration ma...
